2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Plant Profile Content (optional): photos, species details, watering schedules, care notes, and other content you add to organize your indoor gardening routine.

  • Device and Technical Information: device model, operating system version, language settings, app version, time zone, network type, identifiers or similar tokens (as permitted by your device and applicable law).
  • Usage Data (Analytics): interactions with features, screens viewed, feature performance metrics, and general usage patterns.
  • Crash Logs and Diagnostics: error reports and performance data used to diagnose issues and improve stability.

2.3 Location Information (With Permission)

If you allow location permissions, we may collect approximate location and/or precise location.

Location may be used for feature functionality, personalization, or security (for example, to help tailor reminders or reduce fraud), depending on the Service configuration at the time.

  • No biometric identification: Senpo does not perform face recognition and does not use your photos to identify you.
  • No biometric templates: We do not create or store biometric templates from your photos.
  • Limited processing: If you choose to use features that process photos (for example, generating a custom-designed plant card), we process only what is needed to provide the output.
  • Default storage: Your plant photos and plant profile content are intended to be stored locally on your device by default, unless you explicitly choose a feature that requires uploading content.
  • Not used for training/marketing: We do not use your photos or generated outputs to train advertising profiles or for marketing.

5) On-Server Processing for Optional Generation Features (User-Controlled)

Some features may allow you to upload photos and/or text for one-time processing to produce outputs (for example, a shareable plant card design). If you choose to use these features:

  • Processing location: your uploaded photos/text are processed on servers controlled by Senpo Team (our own servers).
  • No third-party sharing for processing: we do not share your uploaded photos/text with any third party for processing.
  • Deletion after processing: we delete the uploaded content from our processing systems immediately after the output is generated, except where retention is required for security, debugging, or legal compliance.
  • Your choice: you control whether to upload content and whether to generate outputs. If you do not upload, processing remains local-only for features that do not require uploads.

Important: Network transmission is required for any feature that involves uploading content to our servers. Your device and connectivity may affect results and availability.

6) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including creating and managing plant profiles and sending reminders).
  • Personalize your experience (for example, tailoring reminders or preferences).
  • Improve and develop the Service (including debugging, analytics, and performance).
  • Security and fraud prevention (including monitoring for abuse).
  • Customer support (responding to requests and troubleshooting).
  • Legal compliance (meeting obligations and responding to lawful requests).

Depending on where you live, our processing may rely on:

  • Performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request).
  • Legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), balanced against your rights.
  • Consent (for example, for location permissions or optional uploads).
